United Diagnostics Industry (UDI) is a part of MouwasatInternational Company (MIC) which is an affiliate of the Mouwasat Group of companies. Basically Mouwasat Group was launched in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the year 1975 with the primary function of provision of primary and tertiaryhealth care services to the local community through establishing health care facilities (Clinics, Dispensaries and Hospitals) throughout the Saudi Kingdom.
With the rapid success of the group from its initial launch, the group now owns a total of five fully operational, major hospitals with a local capacity of 850 beds, a further two hospitals with a total additional capacity of 500 beds, is due to be completed by Q3 of 2018 covering the entire geography of the Saudi Kingdom. The total work force of the group is 4500 employees.
Over the years the group had diversified its business activities and in the year 1994 had launched its Diagnostics Manufacturing arm, United Diagnostics Industry (UDI) as a unit to meet the ever increasing need for readily available quality diagnostics reagent products in areas of Biochemistry, Haematology and Serology, at affordable prices.
UDI Plant, located in Dammam was built over an area of 7500sq. meters and is housed in a modern style building meeting all the requirements of the industry. The plant is equipped with the latest state of the art instrumentations covering areas of Production, QC and R&D departments ensuring production of high quality products.
All UDI products carry the CE Mark and meet the international quality standards and protocols as set by GMP, ISO 9000:2008 (Intertek).
UDI currently has a total work force of 86 employees distributed in UDI plant and sales ofiices.
UDI is staffed by well qualified and stringently trained personnel who are regularly subjected to update their knowledge and experience with the latest advances in the world medical diagnostics to ensure the ability of UDI to stay abreast with international progress and deliver the latest technology to our clients.
UDI products are marketed domestically through a network of six sales offices covering the entire Saudi Kingdom, all sales offices are manned by a team of Sales Representatives, Application Specialists and Biomedical Engineers thus ensuring instant responses to clients who need products or services.
